I don't think that this is what is meant. I despise dress codes for
church, but at the same time the women of today do not dress in
appropriate attire. I work in a mall, and I have seen 5 and 6 year old
girls wearing mid-riff tank tops and shorts that barely cover their
rear ends, acceptable? I think not!

When this starts creeping into the church you are begging for some poor
guy to stumble. I know, being a guy, it is _not_ easy not looking at a
woman that is dressed in a flashy manner. If you truly loved the
brethen, would you do something to make them fall? I know you made the
point that that is overused but in this case I don't feel it is. I
think it is completely underused. There is absolutely no reason a woman
cannot dress modestly (shorts and a full-coverage t-shirt perhaps?). I
am by no means saying they need to be in muu-muus (sp?) to be modest.

Being a follower of Christ means _not_ conforming to the ways of the
world, attire is just another way we have to set ourselves apart. Would
you dress with your cleavage hanging out and your back end falling out
the bottom of your shorts in front of Jesus? (Psst, remember, he is at
church...)
