	Hmm... you can solve that in pretty much all of those. Mandrake can be 
"unbranded" faster than you can say "Go away ugly icons." :-)

	Fedora, well, you just shouldn't use KDE in Fedora, IMO. It isn't what 
the developers really care about. GNOME is beautiful in it, though.

	I suspect what you will find is that distros that have gui tools also 
"brand," as you put it, the distribution. That's their job (i.e. to 
make things fit together in a useful, value added way).

	Libranet might be up your alley (Debian with GUI tools).
