i have to say since i upgraded to mandrake 10.0 and 2.6.3 kernel my luck with sound cards has been a total failure. mdk 8.2 ,mdk 9.0,mdk 9.2 all gave no problems but it seems to be something about the 2.6 kernel. since the mobo,cpu and sound card all went up in smoke at same time i havent tried again.i still need to buy one now. brenda banks aka br3n
