Maybe that is the key to understanding the problem -- how many branches
were removed? Even if all but one were removed, the tree would still be
Jewish and alive. We were grafted into a living functioning Jewish tree
-- it never died.
The 'Israel of God' is not the Church but a part of the Church, made up
of those natural descendants of Abraham who have by faith, believed on
Messiah.
But like you say -- since you reject Dispensationalism.......
