| Aw, it's not so bad. It's not quite as glitzy, but it runs fast and
| looks clean. It's methodology is more Mac-like, though, so I think
| that throws people off at first, since KDE is more Windows-like.
maybe. i've tried gnome for weeks at a time and have hated it every time.
it's like living in a u-haul trailer: it could be done, but who'd want to?
| You need a KVM switch. Then you could hook the Mac up to your main
| screen along with your other computer.
for a start, the mac needs an on/off switch on the box, so i;m not tied to
an awful keyboard. then it needs a vga connector, so i can put a proper
monitor on it.
| Ah, yes. KDE needs to get a Plaxo connector to make moving address
| books around easier...
my dispute with the kmail addressbook is that it used to be a nice flat
file: one line with name and email address. some people want all kinds of
other stuff -- good for them. but don't dump the original, which worked
and which was easily fixed when it breaks. was kind of arrogant of 'em to
dump it, i thought.
