Hardly, but it depends on how you define life. I dare say you are
going to have a hard time defining when life begins, which is why we
have this debate at all. You've met a few odd ball wacko pro-life
Christians and assume everyone is like them.

Aquinas did indeed suggest the 40 day idea back in his day. However,
he also didn't really understand the process and was mostly just
going with what Aristotle had to say on the matter. The Catholic
Church is quite firm on the matter today, hence the opposition to
SCNT as well. The claim by the Catholic church -- which I do not
agree with, by the way -- that contraception should not be permitted
is tied not to the beginning of life but rather the potential.
However, that argument bleeds into the other one, as it does apply to
contraceptives that do not prevent fertilization but rather prevent
the fertilized egg from continuing its progress.

And you've confused normal pro-lifers with hateful, vengeful nut
jobs. Again, stereotypes are stupid. Let's talk about real people
instead.

Hey, you have a cute dog. I'll take that as a compliment. Girls
would probably like me better if I looked like your dog too.

No. I think I did see that movie -- ah, yes I did -- but that isn't
what I'm talking about. The process for embryonic stem cell research
and full cloning is precisely the same. Dolly was cloned by SCNT.
Now, personally, I don't like them refining that process. It has
nothing to do with "the Sixth Day" and everything to do with the
reality that I think you few would dispute we are headed towards
cloning humans. I don't personally like that idea, do you?

Incidentally, the Governator supports embryonic stem cell research.
That *is* ironic, after he did that movie, I suppose.

Yes, that's a good, rational reason to reject Huckabee. And what
about Ron Paul? He's a Christian too, I do believe.
