[CS-FSLUG] Rumors Confirmed: Steam Box to run Linux

A German site interviewed a Valve engineer involved in the building of 
Valve's game console/PC for the living room known as the Steam Box. He 
confirmed that the machine will run Linux rather than Windows. The 
implications for this are rather huge for the gaming industry. The Game 
Developer Conference is coming up in March. Valve will likely makes its 
full public announcement then. Given Gabe Newell's scathing comments 
about Windows 8 and not wanting Valve to be reliant on one platform 
alone, this move makes a lot of sense.
