My jaw nearly hit the floor when I read this.  It's about as
in-your-face unconstitutional as I can imagine.  I'm glad the ADF is
taking this on, but it's a sad commentary that demonstrates our modern
culture's open hostility towards spiritual matters in general, and
Christianity in particular.

On the other hand, we've been exhorted to "count it all joy" in
circumstances such as these. I will pray that God's people will rally
and that His name will be exalted.

As a side note, I hadn't realized that the ADF had changed its name. I
initially thought your "Alliance Defending Freedom" was a typo, or
perhaps a different organization than the Alliance Defense Fund.  Nope!
 I've followed them for years (although apparently not so closely
lately!); they've taken on some very worthwhile cases.
