Dowd has nothing really new to say; I've read the same stuff from
writers as far back as the 1600s, just different terminology. Presuming
to judge the God of the Bible has always been folly. As most of you have
already said at one time or another, the Word stands, and it remains for
us to grasp what it demands of us.
