'Get ALL of it frequently! As to "politics," it IS correct for a pastor
to take a BIBLICAL position as it relates to social issues, like
abortion and queer marriage. One of the reasons that we have as much
grief in our nation now, is that most who follow Scripture from the
pulpit largely kept their mouths shut about social issues over the past
30 to 40 years. Liberals, that is socialists who were/are masked as
clergy haven't been quiet and have been promoting their
socialist/Marxist agenda all that time. Of late, I've had a number of
pastors finally admit that they and the majority have been WRONG in
keeping quiet from the pulpit. 'Late to get with the program, but better
than never.
