[CS-FSLUG] Your OS may be secure, but are users safe?

Up to now, much focus has been placed on securing at OS level; but I'm 
guessing vulnerabilities exist (choose your OS) that require access to a 
local account to exploit?  By using application layer to bypass 
firewalls; an attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities.  Is Linux or 
Mac any safer than Windows in this arena?
