Except, in the end, that was his whole point! And brow-beating people
into giving (insulting, etc.) Is that what you mean by "getting
involved"? Because that's the impression I got from the email you
forwarded. "If you don't give us $10, you aren't getting involved."
What do _you_ mean by "get involved"? And oddly, for all this "getting
involved for the past 30 years or so, there has been little to no
progress on any front, and people continue to die without Christ, and
the Christian testimony of many believers and organizations is
non-existent, because when you mention their names, all that people
can think of is angry, hate-filled faces. Yeah, that's been "getting
involved" and getting things done.

Society's ills will not be healed with social solutions. Society's
ills are spiritual problems, with spiritual solutions. And they don't
get fixed at an instutional level, or social level. They get healed
one soul at a time. Christianity's impact will not be accomplished by
correcting society, but by converting souls, and looking at history,
even that won't cure society, but This doesn't mean that the salt will
have no effect. It just won't be obvious on the surface. I fear,
however, that a large part of our problem today is that a large number
of "Christians" are merely "social" Christians. And in a
socialist-leaning society, this leads to people seeking social
solutions to society's ills. Sorry, but it won't work. As I said, you
are fighting the wrong battle, and with th wrong weapons. And then,
you turn around and accuse me of lip service and not getting involved?
I will give you neither lip service, nor will I get involved in the
way that _you_ or Randall Terry want me to, but I will do what I know
Christ wants me to do.
