[CS-FSLUG] Texas Judge Rules Microsoft Can't Sell Word Anymore

I see very little good in this announcement - it is just another
company being stung by a ridiculous software patent. The only possibly
good thing would be if this encourages MS to put some of its budget
into  campaigning for the abolition of software patents (and making
sure we never get landed with them over here in Europe). Then, maybe,
we can get a few more Linux distros that can play mp3s, etc., 'out of
the box', without having to pander to silly US patent rules...
