[CS-FSLUG] Changing monitors

There may be an easier procedure, but this is what I've done and heard
suggested by others: With the old monitor, run the X config tool (sudo
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg for Ubuntu) and set to basic VGA.
Install the new monitor.  Rerun the configure tool to set up for the
new monitor.
