Good you managed to install it.
Making a shortcut on the desktop this way is not the easiest way...
In KDE, if you (really) want a link to Bibletime on your desktop, it's
better to
1) right-click on your Desktop
2) select "Create a new..." -> "Link to a program..."
3) Give it a name (e.g. Bibletime)
4) Choose an icon (Bibletime)
5) Go to the "program" tab and set everything there


In Kubuntu, we tend to keep the Desktop clean (I don't have a single file on
it) and use the KDE bar more.

In order to make a shortcut in the KDE bar, right click on it and select
"Add a program to panel".
