As long as I have been on the list, I have never seen anyone's request go
without response.  I have never known an RSVP to be required before either.
I just thought it strange that this one did not draw a single response,
hence my question.  If I were used to seeing prayer requests go without any
response, I would not have had a question.  I really was concerned that
linking to an article may have been taken the wrong way or something.  That
may be a 'dumb' way to think about it, but given that I'm conditioned to
seeing the responses...

Anyway, I mean no harm or ill will; I just thought I had made some gaffe
without realizing it. :-)  Thanks for the prayers, and for your answers to
my question.
