It doesn't really have to, but it would be handy. We've had water run
back out of the sewers into our basement at least a few times, and one
place we lived flooded and the basement got soaked. I'm not in favor
of leaving electronics in a pool of water, especially expensive
electronics. While being able to run while unplugged isn't that
important, being able to roll easily so it can quickly be moved would
be nice.
