Leaving these IPs as dynamic leases eases management by maintaining a
mostly standardized workstation. There is less to remember about
odd-ball configurations and thus reduces the chance that a co-worker who
doesn't know the machine is unique will mess up the config. Also, this
will break in a way that will lead to the problem easily. The
alternative would be more confusing.

Plus, if it is a mobile machine, they can maintain DHCP in the config as
it moves between networks without reconfiguration, but will dependably
be able to connect with unique access as desired when in Frank's
network.
