[CS-FSLUG] An easy way to remove blank lines?

Hi Ed!

I know it doesn't come form mac (I dual boot only between win98 and
linux). I am not sure how to find out it is in unix-format.. I tried
the combination of newline and carriage-return (in both Kate and
KWrite), but without success.
