FTC TAKES "BOLD" SPYWARE ACTIONS

In a bold move, the Federal Trade Commission has temporarily shut down a
software vendor that used allegedly false scare tactics to increase
sales. Bold, that is, if it had taken the action -- oh, say -- five
years earlier.
