"Fear and loathing of IE 7

Meet Hakon Wium Lie. Lie wears three hats. In addition to being the CTO of
Oslo, Norway-based browser developer Opera Software, he's a card-carrying
member of the Web Standards Project and he's also widely regarded as the
father of HTML's cascading style sheets (CSS). Now, with all three hats on at
the same time -- one as a competitor to Microsoft, the other as a member of
an organization that's dedicated to routing out the sort of incompatibilities
that Internet Explorer brought to Web developers, and the third as a
technologist whose brainchild has received lukewarm support from Microsoft --
Lie has a message: History will repeat itself. The next version of
Microsoft's Internet Explorer will, like some previous versions of IE, serve
Microsoft's interests and not those of Web developers and users."
