[CS-FSLUG] MetConnect/A Favor of My Friends in New York

Hi everyone,
I have a friend who will be in NYC for a few short months and I
ran into MetConnect today... apparently, an entirely free dial-up ISP
for those in NYC. http://www.metconnect.com . It looks like it
should work with GNU/Linux. Question: has anyone in NY tried this
service? If not, would you mind filling out the form, which only
requires you to pick out a username and password, and then trying to
dial up to it?

I tried it from St. Louis, but I'm wondering if they won't
accept calls outside of a certain region... I do not get a busy
signal, rather I get an "all circuits are busy" recording no matter
which number I try. If I could find out if it works, that'd be great.

     Thanks!

     -Tim
