[CS-FSLUG] Gave up a chance at a job

You may "think" that you regret it now. But when you look back on
this after you have completed your education, you shouldn't have any
regrets at all. It's easier to afford the luxuries in life when
you've got the finances in the bank. Taking care of yourself helps in
ensuring a financially secure future. You may be blowing off things
what you would like to have now, but when you are working for that
great company in the future and people you knew from high school are
still trying work their way up through McDonald's or Wally World, then
you will see your sacrifice pay off.

I will second what Fred has said. That "piece of paper" will mean
more down the road. If you need funds, user your summer vacation for
that. Then later on down the line, start working towards internships,
so you can get that all important "on the job experience", when it
comes time to get a job.

Blessings,
Daniel
