I do hope that you do not mean to infer that I am a teacher in amateur radio. I am merely a licensed amateur operator under an american no-code tech license (kf6snj). However, I do know that through http://www.qrz.com there are some several really good amateur radio programs available, including a couple for Linux. Hope that helps.
