Well, someone has got to speak up for the CLI crowd...lets hear it for
Mutt!!!  Yeah!  Mutt is all the client you need for email.  Just look at
the X-Message-Flag header in all my mail.  :-)

Seriously, when email is done correctly (NO HTML!) then you don't need a
GUI client.  E-mail is meant to be text based so why do you need
graphics?  That is what 'xv' or 'ee' or <insert favorite image viewer>
is for.  When setup with your ~/.mailcap file mutt can pop open a video,
sound, or picture attachment with whichever program you would like.
