[CS-FSLUG] Mozilla stupidity

Does anyone know how I can prevent Mozilla making dns queries before it
opens a window? When I start it, the stupid thing hangs for 90 seconds
or longer trying to resovle some queries that make no sense, simply
because I have a dnscache running. Seems to me an Internet app has no
business making queries before it's running.
