Well, that depends on what you think the CPP is actually worth.  Even
in it's current state, if the person were to retire today they'd be
left with about $9000 in annual income (poverty line is considered
$19000 in urban areas in Canada).  On top of this, due to the changing
population (read: abortion finally catching up to people), a lot of
these government pension plans are expecting a negative rate of return
on investment for those currently in the workforce.  Already countries
like Germany are cutting back on their pension system, and this is
still before the "baby boomer" generation following world war 2 begins
to retire.
