Chris, laptops have always been a problem. As far as I know, from what reports 
are "coming in," it would APPEAR that the new SUSE Pro. 9.2 does a BETTER job 
on laptops than any release to date, as they put a LOT of effort into 
resolving a lot of the on-going problems all distros. have suffered.
