Are you more familiar with Debian than any other distro?  I'm just
wondering since Debian seems like starting a 1st grader in Algebra.  I
would use Mandrake, Suse, or Fedora, but I'm sure there are those that
would argue that too.  Are you orienting the course to just user side
tasks, or some installation/administration tasks?
