[CS-FSLUG] QOTW: Megahurtz Race

I noticed that I missed one of the questions (the "real" clock-speed in 
current computer). I am not sure how to check processors "real" clock-speed , 
but Suse's "hardware-info" says that both processors have exactly the same 
speed: 501.132 mhz. Makes me wonder where "hardware info" gets these values -  
is there some kind of metering involved?
