I guess maybe if you're looking for convenience, the iTunes method that
others have mentioned might work well.  But if you are looking to use
Free Software to play the files, you might try VLC media player (
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ )  They have a version for Mac OS X... and
it's cross-platform, so it also works on Windows and Linux among other
operating systems.  I haven't tried it on Mac OS X as I don't have a
Mac, but it seems to work fairly well on Windows and Linux.  And it
supports Ogg Vorbis natively as well as other formats.
