Now, I have a very important question for you: how much time have you
wasted by selecting which packages you want installed for the
4.3 x 10^32 distros you've installed? Don't you think your time would
be much better used by picking a distro, installing it, customizing it
and sticking with it? Sure, slackware (or any distro) will take a
couple of days to a week of time to get set perfectly how you want it.
But once done, you are free to do anything you want. Yeah, you'll tweak
your .muttrc or your .profile from time to time, but you already have
everything setup how you want it. No more wasted time getting library
dependencies fixed for KDE, etc.

And by the way, you will *never* find the ideal distro unless you roll
one yourself. Since everyone has different ways of organizing the way
things are done, etc there will always be *one* little thing that bugs
you...think about it.
