Well, last time Ralph was a Green.  The Green party typically not only has 
internal consistency, but international consistency.  For you Americans, 
though, it probably seems too much like voting Communist.

In Reform's case, it didn't even seem like they chose a candidate for his 
opposition to NAFTA (I voted for that -sorry, my bad...).  They just wanted a 
candidate with name recognition.  Nader sank even lower by just shopping for 
a party that would run him.

Here in the Great White North, Nader doesn't look very left wing at all.
