<p>Fighting Sotomayor - For the Sake of the Babies</p>

pastor, an evangelical minister or pro-life leader, or
any foot-soldier in the trenches says: "I want to overturn Roe vs.
Wade..." and yet they do not publicly fight against Sotomayor's
nomination, </span><b><u><span><span style="font-size: small;">they are
either lazy, liars, hypocrites, cowards, or traitors</span></span></u></b><span
style="font-size: small;">. <span> </span>"Can
we win?" is the wrong question. The question is: "Are we duty-bound
before God to fight for the babies and to fight against those who would
slay them?"</span></p>

overturn Roe vs. Wade and crush legalized child-killing underfoot:

nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the US Supreme Court.</p>

ways that you can be in this fight.</p>

<p>3) Holding an "anti-Sotomayor" vigil/press
conference in your city on July 13th;</p>
<p>4) Joining me in one of 11 cities I will be in
next week;</p>
<p>5) Coming to Washington D.C. from July 11-14 to
protest at the nomination hearings and at other critical venues.</p>

Sonia Sotomayor is a hard-core supporter of child

in their right mind think that President Obama would <b>not</b>
appoint a hard-core child-killer to the Court? The very idea is

<p><span> </span><i><u>I recently spoke
with Senator Sam
Brownback</u></i> (R - KS) in an airport. You may recall that he ran
for the US
Presidency in 2008. He says he wants to overturn Roe.</p>

</span>I said to him: "You have got to filibuster
Sotomayor!" <span> </span>He responded:<span> </span>"We don't have
the votes."</p>
<p><span>
</span>I replied: "It doesn't matter! You have to
fight for the babies! <i>This is a fight worth <b>losing</b></i>!
You can't say that you want to overturn Roe, and then
vote for someone who wants to uphold it!" (He has since declared his
opposition to her nomination, but has not agreed to help lead a
filibuster.)</p>
<p><span>
</span>This conversation typifies the abject
surrender of many "pro-life"
senators, not to mention pro-life
groups and Catholic Bishops.<span> </span>Think of it: how many
pro-life groups do you know that are calling for a brawl to stop this
woman
from being on the Supreme Court? Yes, victory is a long shot - <b><i>but
we have a duty to</i> <i>fight for the
babies</i></b>.<span> <br>

<p style="text-align: center;" align="center"><span
style="font-size: 16pt;">Secondary Mission: Expose Hypocrisy,
Cowardice and

</span>"Can we win?" is the wrong question. The

attitude. It should be: "We have
the duty to fight and cry out for justice for the babies and to
denounce their

style="font-size: 14pt;">In other words: This is a fight worth waging;
a fight
worth <i>losing</i>.</span></u></p>

</span>We must use this fight to expose the hypocrisy
and treachery of the
Republican Party, as well as our religious leaders. It is not enough to
say,
"We are pro-life!" Those words - without corresponding action - stink
to the
heavens, and mock the dead victims.</p>
<p><span> And so - as I stated above - I
issue this challenge</span>: if a US senator, or a Catholic
bishop, a priest or a pastor, or an evangelical minister or pro-life
leader says
that they want to overturn Roe vs. Wade, and yet they do not publicly
fight against
Sotomayor's nomination,<b><u><span><span style="font-size: small;">they
are either lazy, liars, hypocrites, cowards, or traitors</span></span></u></b><span
style="font-size: small;">.</span></p>
<p><span>
</span><b>There is</b> <b>no excuse</b> <b>to
surrender</b>; <i>there is no excuse not to fight</i>. </p>
<p>We are
one vote away from overturning Roe vs. Wade by most analyses; that
being the
fact, we should fight like crazy to do everything in our power to keep
her and
any other pro-abort off the bench. Let the court sit at eight members;
let it
shrink to seven members; but filibuster every nominee who supports Roe
vs.
Wade.</p>
