<br>There are a number of possibilities here.  Could you post the

following information?

Could you post the IP address of both Linux computers?

<br>Could you post the gateways of both Linux computers (do a "route" and

the gateway is the one labeled "default")

Could you post the model of your Linksys Cable/DSL router?

<p>Then, could you try running (as root) the following command:

<br>    <i>traceroute www.google.com</i>

<br>and then try:

<br>    <i>traceroute 64.233.171.99</i>

<p>With the traceroute we are mainly interested in how far the packets

are going, and whether or not domain-name-lookup works.  You only

need to let us know if it works at all, and show us the error if it does

not.
