As I’ve continued to research and mull, I think I have a new set of “finalists.”

1.) The WASD Code Keyboard with Cherry MX Clears (http://codekeyboards.com <http://codekeyboards.com/>)
2.) The KUL TKL keyboard with MX Browns (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KI1ZAHY/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687522&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00KI23T8U&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1BJJ96THP3ZPZT2AYYB5 <http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KI1ZAHY/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687522&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00KI23T8U&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1BJJ96THP3ZPZT2AYYB5>)
3.) The Unicomp Space Saver M

The first two have dip switches that let them switch between PC and Mac mode, which sounds great in my book since I may use it in both settings. They also have removable USB cables, which is nice. And, notably, they both are compact and understated.

The Unicomp doesn’t have swappable modes, doesn’t have a removable cable (unless I’m mistaken) and isn’t understated or compact. But, it has buckling springs and, as an added bonus, PBT keycaps.

In any case, if anyone has any thoughts on those keyboards and how they might compare to each other, I’m open to comments. A purist part of me really wants to go with the Unicomp; but I like the idea of something smaller, etc.

Blessings,
Tim
