I've been asking for help on several forums and getting nowhere. I
'upgraded' my OS from Mint 11 to Mint13. Now my printer won't reset. That
is, I can print one job, but when I go to the next one, in order to make
it print, I have to manually unplug, and re-plug the USB connection at the
computer that leads to the printer. Then (and only then) will it proceed
tp print. Until then, the computer just holds the job,and the printer
registers "ready". This is an older laser printer (HP 4050) with a 25 pin
connector using a USB adapter. But it worked fine on Mint 9 and Mint 11.

Suggestions? Updated driver? Bash work-around? It's just inconvenient
pluging and unplugging that USB.
