[CS-FSLUG] OT: UN Internet Takeover Proposal to be Considered This Week

I'm sending this because it should be considered by all, if only 
immediate action taken. We also should consider how we can communicate 
if the UN and/or the "O" administration decides we don't have freedom of 
speech, etc., etc. If nothing else, something we should ponder and maybe 
discuss.

The UN's International Telecommunications Union will meet in Dubai THIS 
WEEK to consider a new treaty to allow the United Nations to take 
control over the entire internet!

The Wall Street Journal is calling it "the U.N.'s Internet Sneak Attack."

Please send faxes to EVERY Member of the U.S. Senate immediately. We 
have to stop this madness, and prevent Barack Obama from giving control 
over the entire internet to his America-hating allies at the UN.

This proposal will give the UN control over "cyber security," how 
quickly data can be transmitted, and even web addresses!  It will give 
foreign nations the power to tax your favorite web sites, and even 
internet searches!

The radical left and its allies in the Obama-loving "international 
community" believe that the American people have too much control (in 
other words, too much freedom) over the internet, and that an 
international body - the United Nations - needs to step in.

They are proposing to give the UN the ability to spy on what websites 
you visit, what you download or transmit across international borders, 
what internet addresses you may have, and what websites you may start.

If this proposal is implemented, Barack Hussein Obama's anti-America 
allies across the globe will have incredible power to regulate and 
censor our free speech.

You must fax EVERY Member of the Senate right away. Tell them you oppose 
this insanity. This treaty is already 200 pages long, and over 150 
nations are trying to put their greedy paws on the World Wide Web.

Fred, please understand that I am not joking.  This proposal is real, it 
is that bad and it is that dangerous.

According to The Wall Street Journal, "Regimes such as Russia and Iran 
also want an ITU rule letting them monitor Internet traffic routed 
through or to their countries, allowing them to eavesdrop or block access."

For the past several years, Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., has been 
relentless in his desire to rein in free speech on the internet.  He 
knows that groups like the U.S. Justice Foundation would not exist 
without the World Wide Web.

He tried to take over the internet with the SOPA bill, but the American 
people rose up.

So, now, he is working with the "international community" to give the UN 
this extraordinary power.

Supporters of this treaty say that it is designed simply to make the 
internet more fair.
They say that Americans and our technology are too dominant online, and 
that other nations should get a "say" in how the internet is run.

Don't believe them. This proposal is nothing but a naked power grab by 
the enemies of free speech - both here in the U.S. and abroad.
