I read this article, very interesting... for me the only interest, as
a linux user, would be mono (I think, since ianal). And when I
installed linux mint debian one of the very first things I did was
remove all mono & related app's -- and now I'm using straight Debian
and still Mono-free. And I'm really enjoying Debian (xfce). 

If that article basically says that Mono is covered under the GPL, that
could be quite a development... it will be interesting to see how it all
gets sorted out.
