[CS-FSLUG] Backlight for Sony LCD

I am trying to help a friend repair his laptop (a Sony PCG-8X2L). The screen's backlight seems to come on and quickly go off. When it is on, it has a strong reddish cast. I think the light needs to be replaced. Anyone know the best place to get a replacement? Anyone deal with a company that does the replacement? I am wondering how labor intensive it would be....
