Good point indeed, but does God require that all Christians martyr 
themselves for the cause?  And would that have any effect on Islam, or 
just give them satisfaction?

I am not ready to Martyr myself just yet and I, for sure, refuse to be 
responsible for martyring anyone else. :-)
