But on the other hand why not? Traffic trends only increase. Even in
the house one may want to stream HD video over the LAN, which would
likely benefit from gigabit.

So, a nice gigabit router recommendation would still be interesting.

I have the WRT54GL and love it, but may upgrade to an 'n' class with
gigabit someday.
