[CS-FSLUG] [OT] Fwd: Product Registration Confirmation = Permission to spam

Just thought I'd put a little heads up out there for you folks.
Roxio's registration process doesn't clearly say anything about
allowing correspondence by e-mail, especially spam. It looks like I
have to click the link they included to confirm the address works, so
I won't be doing that; however, I find it just disgusting that after
paying for a product, they force the registration dialog on me
without any way to skip it *after* I get to the point where I can no
longer legally return the software, and to top if off I find out the
next morning that something in their fine-print or legal-speak gave
them permission to spam me.

Sometimes I miss Linux.
