Install mplayer. Then:

mplayer -ao pcm -vo null '/path/to/file.wmv'

In the directory from which you run mplayer, there will be a file called '
audiodump.wav'

The "dump" occurs many, many times faster than playback speed.

Good luck. And Happy Easter Thursday!
