Before you delete your partition, could you also print off your mount 
table?  Boot into Ubuntu and do a:

df -H

and

mount

These will show us which partitions are mounted where.  Most likely you 
will end up deleting the partition.  But when you delete the partition, 
the data on that partition will go *poof*.  It is possible to wrest the 
good data off the partition before deleting it, and then rebuild it 
depending on what information is on that partition (if any).
