I gave up on amarok a while ago.  Kept hanging my system unles it was 
set on "shuffle".  I use Alsaplayer now - horrible interface, but it 
works smoothly for the playing.  Amazingly Cinerella installed and runs 
without a hitch.  My dual boot with Ubuntu (Ubuntu installed after Suse) 
never worked, so I gave up 'tu

Suse 10.0 too
