Besides changing setting in OOo2, you can also press "Shift-Continue" on 
the printer to print the document anyway.  HP5 and later have a config 
setting that will ignore this problem with A4/Letter - when printer has one 
type, but document is formatted for the other.

I bought my HP4 in Feb.1993 for C$1800.  Probably not worth that much now.
