[CS-FSLUG] ARP traffic

Playing with tcpdump, I see ARP requests are rather constant over my DSL 
link. The source is the DNS server upstream, but what I noticed is the 
frequency appears to be every 20 seconds for my IP address. Is this 
typical in anyone else's experience?
