Indeed,

> "One" read in context deals with the Absolute that
> there is no division, no schism, no disunity in the
> Godhead. Just as Jesus said, oh and I do emphisise
> JESUS SAID, "Father, that they may be one as you
> Father and I are one" ( see John 17:11). One-ness
> dear brother is a unity in the Body of Christ that
> comes not from carnal agreement (as in I AM THE
> RIGHT AND THOU MUST AGREE BECAUSE MY THEOLOGY SAID
> SO). True one-ness begins with LOVE THE LORD YOUR
> GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, ALL YOUR MIND, ALL YOUR
> SOUL, AND ALL YOUR MIGHT. the second is just like
> it, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

Me thinks there is a slight misundetstanding here.
Loving your neighbor (saved or unsaved) is a beautiful
command that preserves society and displays God's
love. Loving God is a necessity, afterall, He did go
through alot of trouble for us.

That said, let's not confuse "love" for the new
"tolerance" promoted these days. The new tolerance is
nothing but atheism (everyone is right in their own
way) in disguise, where everyone is equally full of
it. Or as my father put it years ago, "Well son,
Unitarians believe in everything ... which in reality
means they believe in nothing."

-----------------------------------------------------

> I dont care who he is, whether penticostal,
> methodist, episcopal, catholic, whatever. We as a
> Body are commanded by God to Love one ANOTHER. That
> dear brother will bring TRUE ONENESS in the body.

I do care. You cannot sacrifice truth on the alter of
tolerance.

If a person is saved and believes in another variation
of the same doctrine based on the clear teaching of
scripture (Methodist, Baptist, Pentacostal) then all
is well. My doctrine on questionable matters could be
wrong, so I let God be the judge.

However, if a person is saved and is under doctrine
that resembles the truth but is obviously erronious
(Mormon, JW, Traditional Roman Catholic) then I can
live in peace with them. I can love my neighbor. What
I can not do is condone nor support a "doctrine" that
speaks wrongly about the foundation of faith, namely
salvation. I will instead speak out strongly in
support of the true doctrine of salvation, which is
the power of God to change the hearts and lives of all
people everywhere.

In other words, I can love my neighbor without turning
a blind eye to their lost state. I can also love my
Christian neighbor enough to say something about
obviously wrong doctrine. If I didn't love them, I'd
say nothing.

I'd perhaps say that they don't need a priest's
permission to be forgiven or that baptism doesn't save
you and other obvious matters. Or perhaps God doesn't
care about such matters. Afterall, it's only Jesus'
death on the cross. It's not like He cares about the
truth of salvation ... or maybe He does.
