SCO BOARD MEMBERS SETTLE LEGAL ACTION

Lawsuits between two members of the board of the SCO Group and their
former employer The Canopy Group have been settled. SCO Chairman
Ralph Yarro and SCO board member Darcy Mott were ousted from Canopy
-- a major investor in SCO -- in 2004, but retained their positions
on SCO's board. The pair decided to sue Canopy to challenge their
removal. Under the settlement, Yarro will receive all of Canopy's SCO
shares and both Yarro and Mott will receive an undisclosed amount of
money.
